Custom Lapel Pins

VeperPins does not use one fixed minimum for every project. Most custom lapel pin orders start at 50 pieces because mold, setup, and production costs make very small runs more expensive per pin. If you need fewer than 50, send us your design and quantity so we can confirm whether the order is practical.

For reference, our current price for 100 one-inch pins is $3.00 each for soft enamel, $3.09 for hard enamel, $2.99 for die struck, and $2.91 for printed pins. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Your final quote depends on size, quantity, plating, backing, packaging, and upgrades. These prices are a useful starting point, but we confirm the exact cost after reviewing your design and order specifications.

The unit price drops as the quantity increases. For example, the current price for one-inch soft enamel pins is $3.00 each at 100 pieces, $1.39 at 500, $1.19 at 1,000, and $0.61 at 10,000. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Special finishes and packaging can change the final price. For large-volume orders, we can prepare a project-specific quote based on the design, quantity, deadline, and packing requirements.

We confirm the quote and order details first. Production begins only after you approve the digital proof and payment is complete. Changes can be made before production starts, but they are usually no longer possible once manufacturing has begun.

No. You can send a logo, sketch, photo, reference image, or written idea. Vector files such as AI, EPS, PDF, and SVG are best for production, but we can also review high-resolution PNG and JPG files. We will let you know if the artwork needs to be simplified or redrawn.

Every order receives a digital proof before production. Check the dimensions, shape, colors, spelling, artwork placement, plating, and backing carefully. We will not begin manufacturing until you approve the proof.

Enamel pins work best for designs with solid colors and clear metal lines. Die struck pins are a good fit for an all-metal look with raised and recessed details. Printed pins are usually better for photos, gradients, shadows, very small text, or detailed full-color artwork.

Soft enamel pins have raised metal lines and recessed color areas, creating a textured surface. Hard enamel pins are filled and polished until the color and metal are level, giving the pin a smooth surface and a more jewelry-like finish.

Most custom lapel pins are between 1 inch and 1.5 inches. Simple logos can work at a smaller size, while detailed artwork and longer text usually need more room to stay readable. A size around 1 to 1.25 inches works well for many logos, while 1.5 inches or larger is often better for detailed designs.

Metal butterfly and rubber clutches are standard no-cost backing options in our current pricing. Magnets, safety pins, deluxe clutches, and other attachments are also available. Plating options include polished gold, silver, copper, black nickel, and antique finishes. Depending on the artwork, you can also add glitter, glow-in-the-dark enamel, transparent enamel, epoxy coating, cutouts, or screen-printed details. The best combination depends on where the pin will be worn, how secure it needs to be, and the look you want.

Standard production takes about 20 days after artwork approval and payment. Rush production generally takes 13–16 days when the pin style, quantity, and factory schedule allow. These are production estimates and do not include carrier transit time. Tell us your event date before ordering so we can confirm a workable schedule.

We ship worldwide, usually with FedEx, DHL, UPS, or a similar carrier. Custom orders of 50 pieces or more currently include free shipping to the United States, the UK, and Canada. Shipping to other destinations is quoted separately. We provide tracking information after the order ships.
